Trees collapsed on the road to Zhongzhu Middle Road from Neiwan. TRA trains suspended after hitting debris!

Due to continuous heavy rain, Taiwan Railways reported that a tree had fallen at the 11km 900m mark between Ronghua and Shangyuan on the Neiwan Line. At 1:28 PM, Train No. 1817 traveling from Neiwan to Zhuzhong hit the debris and came to a stop at the site. All 40 passengers are safe.

After being handled by the engineering section, passengers were transferred by Train No. 1818 to Neiwan and then rerouted via Train No. 1821 back to Zhudong. The obstruction was cleared by 2:33 PM, and Train No. 1817 resumed service at 2:35 PM. However, the section remains temporarily closed as debris needs to be removed using an excavator.
