Travelers in central Taiwan, your wait is over！ Following the earlier launch of the “Taichung–Kinmen” route, Far Eastern Air Transport has opened the “Taichung–Makung” route on the 12th, just before the Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival. With two round-trip flights per day, the new service is expected to serve nearly 250,000 passengers annually.

The Penghu International Maritime Fireworks Festival kicks off on the 14th. In the past, only Mandarin Airlines and Uni Air operated flights between Taichung and Makung, leading to sold-out tickets every year during the April to June high season. With Far Eastern Air Transport now joining the “Taichung–Makung” route, this situation is expected to improve significantly.

In addition, with the continuous expansion of its routes, Far Eastern Air Transport plans to recruit 30 more flight attendants and will hold initial interviews in May.
