Taiwan Railways adds extra Mother's Day services; online and phone ticketing open from 00:00 on the 25th

Mother’s Day is approaching, and to accommodate travelers returning home, Taiwan Railways will increase services from Friday, May 9 to Monday, May 12. Online and telephone ticket bookings will open at 00:00 on Friday, April 25, 2014, and tickets can be reserved up to and including Sunday, May 12.
A total of 107 additional train services have been added across all lines; among them, the Eastern Line (including the South-Link Line) will see 34 Tze-Chiang Limited Express services, 14 Chu-Kuang Express services, and 14 Fu-Hsing Semi-Express & Local services, totaling 62 services; the Western Line will offer 22 Tze-Chiang services, 13 Chu-Kuang services, and 10 Local services, totaling 45 services.
