Tung blossoms are blooming across Taiwan, and Miaoli serves as the hub of tung blossom trees. Starting April 19, the "Miaoli Hakka Tung Blossom Festival" will open, with the county government launching 15 carefully selected tung blossom viewing routes that allow visitors to enjoy the most beautiful tung blossoms throughout Miaoli in a single trip. The county government also announced that a concert will be held on the opening day, featuring performances by singers Jolin Tsai, Bii (Bi Shijin), and Chen Shian at the Tung Blossom Happy Park in Tongluo Township.

Organizers stated that a large-scale tung blossom windmill land art installation has been specially designed at the venue. Visitors who take photos, check in, and upload them can receive a beautiful gift. There is also a “Flower & Windmill” DIY corner where visitors can make their own windmills. The spinning windmills in visitors’ hands become moving floral scenery within Tung Blossom Park.

For the opening concert on the 19th, the county government will also provide free shuttle buses. The public can board the buses between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM, and 12:00 PM and 4:30 PM, at Miaoli Railway Station, with one bus every half hour.
