To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Airport Line and the 20th year of operation of the limited express train "rapi:t," Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. has collaborated with the upcoming anime 'Mobile Suit Gundam UC Episode 7: The Rumbling Sky' and will launch the "Mobile Suit Gundam UC × Limited Express Train rapi:t – Return of the Red Comet Limited Express Train rapi:t Neo Zeon Version" starting April 26 (Saturday).

On June 15, 1994, the Nankai Electric Railway Airport Line (from Izumisano Station to Kansai Airport Station) began operations. On September 4 of the same year, the airport officially opened, and the limited express rapi:t also commenced service. This year marks the 20th anniversary for both. Therefore, Nankai Electric Railway has partnered with "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" to launch the "Mobile Suit Gundam UC × Limited Express Train rapi:t – Return of the Red Comet Limited Express Train rapi:t Neo Zeon Version."

This time, in response to the Neo Zeon organization led by Full Frontal—who is known as the "return of Char" in "Mobile Suit Gundam UC"—the exterior of the train cars has been painted red, and three dedicated character seats have been installed inside the car for "Mineva Lao Zabi," "Full Frontal," and "Angelo Sauper." Passengers seated in the special seats can freely take photos during the ride, but those with regular seat tickets cannot use these seats. In addition, themed commemorative limited express train vouchers, commemorative admission tickets, and souvenir merchandise will be sold in conjunction with the event.
