YOYO Rooms at HowToTrip's Dongsen Mountain Resort Go on Sale, Drawing Cheers from 400 Onlookers

A new and fun accommodation option has emerged in Taiwan again. On the 19th, HowToTrip’s Dongsen Mountain Resort officially launched its brand-new YOYO room type, welcoming 400 adults and children on opening day. The event also featured Cherry Sister and Rainbow Sister guiding kids through the rooms. Upon seeing the brand-new YAMY and YOYOMAN-themed rooms, the children couldn't help but shriek with excitement.

By staying in a YOYO series room, children can experience different holiday activities with YOYOMAN, YAMY, and characters from "Moe Academy." HowToTrip’s Dongsen Mountain Resort has launched Taiwan’s first YOYO-themed rooms, which officially went on sale on April 19. On that day, the most popular Rainbow Sister and Cherry Sister will also join children in exploring the new YOYO suites, offering a unique parent-child day trip experience.

With children as the stars, the resort has brought some of the most popular cartoons and idol dramas right into the hotel. The brand-new YOYOMAN, YAMY, and Moe Academy-themed rooms have caught the eyes of both kids and adults. Just by stepping into certain floors of the hotel, cartoon characters immediately catch your eye in the hallways, and upon entering the rooms, it feels like stepping into a fantasy world — YOYOMAN, YAMY, and Moe Academy characters appear to be right there, helping children enjoy a joyful holiday.

On the day of the sale, a YOYO-themed day trip was offered. DIY activities included children making bead art featuring YOYOMAN and YAMY. They also sang and danced with Cherry Sister and Rainbow Sister, creating a lively atmosphere. In the end, Cherry Sister and Rainbow Sister selected 20 lucky children to explore the new YOYO suites. Starting from the first floor of the hotel, a small stage was set up to welcome the children for photos, getting them excited even before entering their rooms.

Walking into the exclusive YOYO-themed room area, the entire corridor is filled with creative and whimsical designs that immediately capture the children’s attention. Each room also features sticker artwork — aside from the main themed characters, YOYO figures can also be found in the bathrooms, on glass surfaces, and more. The small freebies in the rooms further thrilled the children and brought joy to the parents as well.

The YOYO-themed room types include three options: YOYOMAN, YAMY, and Moe Academy. Both the YOYOMAN and YAMY rooms are 11 pyeong (approximately 36 square meters) in size, priced between NT$7,800 and NT$9,800 per night, suitable for a family of four. The Moe Academy-themed room, which also accommodates four people, is larger at 19 pyeong (approximately 63 square meters) and includes an added small living room, offering parent-travelers more space to enjoy sweet family time. Prices for this room range from NT$8,800 to NT$10,800 per night. Guests staying in any YOYO-themed room will also receive a special NT$1,500 gift bag.
