Following the success of the “Tainan Truly Spring — Twin Ponds Horse Year Play” event launched during the Lunar New Year holiday in scenic areas, which attracted tens of thousands of visitors and not only boosted local tourism development but also successfully promoted Tainan’s distinctive scenic spots and diverse tourism offerings, the Tourism Bureau plans to continue promoting regional tourism. In mid-May, it will launch the nine-day2014 De Yuan Pi Dutch Village Children’s Fun Festival, aiming to draw crowds and enliven the community.

The nine-day 2014 De Yuan Pi Dutch Village Children’s Fun Festival will begin on May 17, featuring four major thematic activities: Colorful De Yuan Pi, Joyful De Yuan Pi, Fun-filled De Yuan Pi, and Happy De Yuan Pi. These aim to help adults relive childhood memories and allow children to create new ones, fully reflecting the development goals of a vibrant leisure destination.

In addition to attractions such as the “Inflatable Kingdom” and “Retro Kids’ Games,” the nine-day event will also invite “clowns” to interact with visitors, continuing the festive spirit from the Lunar New Year activities. Children can also participate in a painting activity themed around coloring De Yuan Pi. On-site, free coloring sheets and sketch paper will be provided for children of different age groups. Completed artwork can be exchanged for limited-edition souvenirs at the visitor center, and outstanding pieces will be displayed at the De Yuan Pi Dutch Village Visitor Center after the event, perfectly preserving childhood memories.
