Zhejiang Tourism Plaza Promotion Event – Traditional Crafts and Folk Dances Take the Stage

To further strengthen tourism cooperation with Taiwan, Zhao Jinyong, President of the Zhejiang Tourism Association, led a delegation to Taiwan from May 14 to 20 to hold the Zhejiang Tourism Promotion Week. Today (May 18), the 2014 Taipei•Zhejiang Tourism Plaza Promotion Event was held. In addition to various exciting traditional folk performances, over ten cities including Taizhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Zhoushan, and Hangzhou also provided tourism-related information for public inquiries.

Guo Wenjie, Director of the Office of the Zhoushan Tourism Commission of Zhejiang Province, stated that compared to other promotional activities, this event was held at Xiangdi Boulevard in Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Xinyi District—a bustling area with concentrated foot traffic—allowing for close interaction with the public. It is hoped that this event will boost tourist traffic from Taiwan to Zhejiang.
