The largest summer travel fair of the year kicks off on May 23rd at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. As the event draws near, hotels are launching special promotions on meal vouchers. In addition to the renowned buffet chain Sage Restaurant, which has gained fame in recent years, other participating brands include Grand Hyatt and Okura Prestige Taipei, all offering attractive deals. Some even provide discounts as high as 42%, sparking a fierce discount battle in the meal voucher market.

Discount details are as follows: Sage Restaurant offers weekday double afternoon tea for NT$888 (approximately 25% off), and a bundle of 30 vouchers (10 each for weekday lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner) for NT$16,690 (approximately 42% off); Okura Prestige Taipei’s European-style tearoom offers 4 afternoon tea vouchers for NT$2,600 (approximately 25% off), limited to 200 sets per day, with a maximum of 2 vouchers per person; Grand Hyatt’s Café Kaffe offers weekday afternoon tea and dinner vouchers at NT$950 each (approximately 22% off).
