Summer Travel Expo: Great Hotel Deals Up to 64% Off & Free “Whale Watching Tour”!

The largest summer travel expo, the “2014 Taipei Tourism Expo,” kicked off today (23rd) at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center. In addition to travel agencies pulling out all the stops, hotels are also offering numerous promotions to boost sales during the peak summer travel season.

Beitou Lihkih Hot Spring Hotel, making its first appearance at the expo, is offering a weekday stay voucher: buy 10 nights for 8,800 NTD and get one free, equivalent to a 40% discount. Lihkih Hot Spring Hotel stated this is the final promotion before prices go up, and encourages the public to take advantage. Similarly making its debut, Grand Hyatt Taipei is offering weekday and weekend afternoon tea vouchers for two at the original price of 1,716 NTD, now available at 1,380 NTD each during the expo. Its stylish restaurant is also offering a four-person “Golden Roast Goose Delight Set” meal voucher for 3,960 NTD each. The “Explore Taipei Weekend Domestic Guest Stay Promotion” includes accommodation for 7,854 NTD, with breakfast for two, one yoga class, and two tickets to Taipei 101 Observatory.

Eastar Forest Resort is offering a “One Night Stay with Two Meals Fun Package” for two people at 3,980 NTD (original price 8,736 NTD), which includes one night in a standard double room, a vitality breakfast, buffet dinner, access to levels 1–4 of the Golden SPA Club, and two sets of fun DIY activities. For families, Eastar Forest is also offering a “One Night Stay with Two Meals Family Package” for three people at an original price of 13,672 NTD, now available for 5,980 NTD. This includes one night in a deluxe quadruple room, a vitality breakfast, buffet dinner, access to levels 1–4 of the Golden SPA Club, and three sets of fun DIY activities. Additionally, Eastar Marine Hot Spring Hotel, also under the Eastar group, has launched a special summer peak-season promotion called “Champion’s Popular Whale Watching Tour.” It includes one night in a garden-style elegant room, breakfast and dinner for four, and a four-person whale watching eco-tour. Originally priced at 16,912 NTD, the summer expo price is just 9,880 NTD—a huge 36% discount.
