Every classic fairy tale begins with "Once upon a time..." Starting now, Tokyo Disneyland in Japan has woven these timeless stories into a breathtaking 3D projection light show, which is performed every evening on the symbol of the park — "Cinderella Castle," making Tokyo Disneyland even more magical after dark.

Namedthe nighttime 3D projection show "Once upon a time,"it opens with Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast reading a bedtime story to Chip. Accompanied by narration and music, a series of classic fairy tales such as "Sleeping Beauty," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Peter Pan" unfold on the castle walls, transforming Cinderella Castle into a giant storybook that takes visitors into a fantastical fairy tale world.

For those who wish to enjoy this spectacular light show up close, Tokyo Disneyland has set up a central viewing area. Guests can participate in a lottery for designated seats in the central area by visiting a specified location in Tomorrowland with their valid park admission ticket any time before the show starts, up to 30 minutes after entering the park. However, each ticket is eligible for only one lottery attempt.

The "Once upon a time" nighttime 3D projection show will run from now until summer, with the end date yet to be announced. There are approximately two shows per day, each lasting 20 minutes. The exact start times vary daily, so guests are advised to check with staff on the day of their visit.
