Since the launch of the Tourism Bureau’s Oh Bear sticker pack, downloads have exceeded 5.43 million in just one month, with usage surpassing 32.85 million times. Oh Bear, the team leader of the Super Mission Group at the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Tourism Bureau, has successfully completed his online promotional mission. After a successful probation period, he was sworn in on June 3, officially stepping out of the virtual online world into the real one to promote Taiwan’s tourism. As a true-born local Taiwanese, he will introduce Taiwan’s beautiful mountains, waters, delicious cuisine, and fun events to the world.

The Tourism Bureau also stated that it will develop a variety of Oh Bear merchandise in the future, allowing both domestic and international audiences to own and see him, and be reminded of Taiwan’s beauty. The Bureau will also collaborate with businesses to create various Oh Bear-themed foods, showcasing Taiwan’s unique creativity and development in cuisine, and allowing people to feel Taiwan’s warm charm.
