China Airlines flight attendants’ cheer squad makes another appearance — showcasing dynamic energy at an aerobic night event
Among the running girls, China Airlines flight attendant Liu Yijia has 16 years of service and three years of running experience. Starting out unable to even complete a single kilometer, her never-say-die attitude has enabled her to finish a half marathon in just over two hours. She’s also skilled in triathlon events, and dreams of taking on a 7-day, 6-night ultramarathon to show everyone that flight attendants, once out of uniform, can be sexy athletes too. In addition, Liu Yijia also mentioned that exercise helps train core muscle strength and is also beneficial when handling heavy equipment such as meal carts during cabin service, contributing to more stable job performance.

Another young China Airlines flight attendant, 24-year-old Tang Jiapai, may be new to the job but already has three years of running experience. She always packs running shoes and gear in her luggage, and while others are adjusting to jet lag in hotels, she explores nearby scenic spots and seaside promenades, enjoying the world’s beauty in the glow of sunset. She also revealed that one of the reasons she was motivated to join China Airlines was the airline’s image of healthy, vibrant freshness.
Ground service supervisor Luo Yuxian, who has served at China Airlines for nearly eight years, is passionate about road cycling and running. She says the focus and stamina she brings to her daily work are benefits accumulated from long-term regular exercise. Yuxian noted that in recent years, female fitness has become a growing trend, and China Airlines cabin and ground staff often dress up beautifully with cute, colorful professional sports accessories and team up to participate in runs together — one of the little secrets behind why China Airlines service personnel fall in love with exercise.

The China Airlines cheer squad, which was officially formed last year and made its debut performance during the Korea-China match at the 11th Asia Professional Baseball Championship last November, will also have 10 cabin and ground service members participating enthusiastically this time, bringing their dynamic energy to tonight’s Aerobic Night. In addition, flight attendant Ma Yuschan, who successfully conquered the Taipei 101 Run Up event for the second time in May this year, has also signed up for the 10K race this time to challenge her personal limits once again.
