Kaohsiung boasts many unique industrial resources. For the first time this summer, the Kaohsiung City Government has collaborated with private sector resources, aligning with the diverse tourism development attributes of various civic groups, and incorporating the three major resource characteristics of mountains, sea, and city into the summer camp series. These include the diverse cultural features of mountainous indigenous tribes, Hakka communities, fishing villages, and modern urban areas. For example, the Maolin Mountain Hunter School focuses on hunter training, where participants can learn activities unique to mountain life such as "making signal whistles" and "building hunting huts."

The Oyster Liao Fishermen's Association offers the concept of "little fishermen," allowing children to personally experience fish auctions and take boat rides around the harbor on mackerel fishing boats for a unique fishing village experience. Meanwhile, the urban "Active Kaohsiung Two-Wheel Summer Camp" is a four-day, three-night experience launched by a well-known bicycle brand, where students can learn about and assemble their own bicycles, enjoy cycling and running, and explore scenic spots in Kaohsiung’s Laidi Mountain. Participants can even take home a bicycle worth approximately NT$5,000–7,000 at the end of the activity.
