New landmark "Golden Dragon Bestowing Auspiciousness" debuts on Maokong Gondola; enjoy an extra stop at no extra cost with a great-value ticket

The Taipei Guiding Palace has recently expanded its recreational areas for the public by establishing two distinctive zones: the "Nine Emperors Star Park" and the "Twelve Zodiac Educational Park." Additionally, a new landmark, "Golden Dragon Bestowing Auspiciousness," has been unveiled near the Maokong Gondola Guiding Palace Station. This lifelike golden dragon sprays spiritual springs in the Azure Pool of the Immortal-Welcoming Pavilion, symbolizing prosperity.

According to the Taipei City Government, the new attraction was created to enhance the beautification of the areas surrounding the Maokong Gondola. Travelers interested in visiting are advised to purchase the "Maokong Gondola Round-Trip Value Ticket." This ticket allows one round-trip ride on the Maokong Gondola on the day of activation and includes a complimentary second ride. With just one ticket, visitors can travel back and forth between the Taipei Zoo Station and the Maokong Station, with the option to disembark and explore the Guiding Palace’s unique zones along the way. Each ticket is priced at NT$120, and a deposit of NT$20 can be refunded at any gondola station within three days after use.
