Have you ever seen a desert in Taiwan?

I’ve passed by the Gangzi Desert several times but never actually entered it. This time, I came not for thrilling dune racing, but just to see Taiwan’s great desert.

I was very curious—was this a naturally formed desert landscape or a man-made one?

Later, after chatting with locals, I learned that the vegetation on the slopes was the result of greening efforts by the Kending Management Office.
