As early summer arrives, the unique fragrance of lotus flowers gradually wafts through the air. In the vast ponds surrounding the Paper Dome in Puli's Taomi Ecological Village, clusters of delicate pink lotuses are blooming one after another, recently attracting many photography enthusiasts and families eager to admire the natural beauty.

In recent years, the large water area around the Paper Dome complex has been extensively planted with lotus flowers, adorning the Paper Dome with soft green and pink hues of blossoms and leaves, gradually making it a renowned local spot for lotus viewing. The New Homeland Cultural and Educational Foundation stated that the lotus flowering season at the Paper Dome complex is expected to last until September, making the entire summer vacation an ideal time for lotus appreciation. During the lotus season, weekend performances by musical ensembles featuring guitars, flutes, violins, and more will also be arranged here, filling the air with melodious lotus-inspired tunes.

Additionally, to celebrate the arrival of the Paper Dome lotus season, the Eco-Republic Kitchen within the complex has introduced a summer-exclusive "Paper Dome Lotus Leaf Rice." Fragrant stir-fried rice mixed with rich ingredients such as mushrooms and lotus seeds is wrapped in fresh lotus leaves and steamed to perfection, delivering a mouthful of pure lotus fragrance with every bite.
