“The sea sand forms a white path” – A favorite seaside bathing beach among Koreans

Hyeopjae Beach is the most popular seaside bathing beach in the western part of the island. Every summer, it attracts a large influx of visitors. The endless stretch of white sand combined with the crystal-clear turquoise shallows makes it an ideal destination for Korean family outings. When the tide recedes, the sand in the sea appears to form a white pathway, with the famous Yeondo Island just a stone’s throw away.

Additionally, Hyeopjae Beach is one of the few beaches on Jeju Island that remains open at night. It’s worth experiencing the three distinct and enchanting views it offers – playing in the water under the daytime sun, the glow of the sunset at dusk, and the starry night sky reflected on the water after dark.
