Southeast Asian cuisine has always been a major draw for Taiwanese travelers, offering affordability and rich flavors that are delicious no matter where you buy on the street. Malaysia is home to a food-themed museum that primarily showcases the country’s signature dishes and street snacks.

According to the Penang Tourism Guide, this museum calledthe Food Fantasy Museum (Wonderfood Museum Penang)features many iconic local dishes from Penang, presented in a unique way through oversized food models. Every dish and snack can be found at local restaurants or street stalls. The museum is the work of food model artist Sean Lau.

Once inside the museum, you can explore various themed spaces, with the Malaysian street food section being particularly mouthwatering. In addition to snacks, there are also formal banquet dishes with even more elaborate presentations, including Chinese and Indian styles.
