Jian Zhenzhen keeps you company on the MRT | Kaohsiung MRT’s “Pili Fantasy Train” sets off today

Following the Snoopy series, Kaohsiung MRT has launched a new themed painted train again — the Pili Fantasy Train, featuring characters from the Pili puppet show, will run daily starting today. Not only can passengers spot photos of characters such as Jian Zhenzhen and Luo Hou throughout the train, but starting from the 23rd, taking a photo with any of the 10 hidden Pili hero standees located in MRT stations also gives you a chance to win Pili-related gifts.

The sensational “Pili Fantasy Martial Arts World Exhibition” will be held at Kaohsiung’s Pier-2 Art Center starting the 28th. The organizers have specially collaborated with Kaohsiung MRT to launch the “Pili Fantasy Train.” On the 22nd, the day of its maiden voyage, four Q-version characters — Jian Zhenzhen, Yipage Book, Yu Qinghuan, and Luo Hou — appeared at the dome of the Formosa Boulevard Station to attend the launch ceremony, attracting a large crowd of Pili fans eager to see their martial arts idols.

As the first “Pili Fantasy Train” departed from Formosa Boulevard Station, Jian Zhenzhen even entered the driver’s cab to serve as the maiden voyage conductor. Interestingly, when another Q-version Jian Zhenzhen entered the carriage, its oversized head briefly got stuck under the ceiling, causing some humorous adjustments before it could finally sit down, drawing laughter from the excited fans. The maiden train also carried Pili fans immersed in the specially created martial arts atmosphere all the way to Xiziwan Station.

Kaohsiung MRT stated that the “Pili Fantasy Train” will operate approximately five services per day, running irregularly across 14 stations on the Orange Line from today until September 21. Starting the 23rd, the public can find any of the 10 hidden Pili hero standees located in various MRT stations, and taking a photo with one of them not only grants a 10% discount on exhibition tickets, but collecting photos with all 10 heroes and uploading a collage to the Pili Fantasy Martial Arts World fan page could also win you a Pili music compilation album.
