Taiwan’s most beautiful coastal road! Tightly hugging the shoreline, the air carries the briny mist of waves.

Heading toward the fishing harbor, this stretch of road right next to the beach is the closest to the sea in the entire island-looping journey—and in my heart, it’s the number one roadside view.

I still remember how deeply moved I was by this breathtaking scene during my island loop ride—it stirred my soul for a long time.

The sea is so close here—just a breeze away, and you can smell the fresh spray kicked up by the waves.

It’s a pity I didn’t get to see the big blue sky, missing out on the most stunning moment of the coastal highway. All I could do was imagine the horizon and sky painted in blue, until their boundaries blurred beyond recognition. I’ll keep setting off again and again just to witness that ultimate beauty in my heart.
