If you’ve dreamed of pledging your love under the witness of thousand-year-old sacred trees, don’t miss the “Wedding Under the Alishan Sacred Tree” coming this October. This year, the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration has specially designed a three-day, two-night wedding travel package that combines the ceremony, wedding photography, and honeymoon — allowing soon-to-be newlyweds to tie the knot without breaking the bank. There’s even a chance for “Taiwan O’Bear” to officiate your wedding!

According to Zeng Hanzhou, Director of the Alishan Scenic Area Administration, this year’s “Wedding Under the Alishan Sacred Tree” will select 10 local couples to participate and has arranged a special three-day, two-night wedding tour itinerary so that engaged couples can complete their wedding photo shoot and take part in a one-of-a-kind ceremony under the sacred trees without a hefty price tag. They can also explore the lush forests of Alishan and experience the beautiful scenery of Greater Alishan along with the culture of the Tsou people.Registration for the event runs from now until July 20.
