Pink Peebo and friends have landed in Tainan! Taiwan’s first-ever Uglyhead-themed hot pot restaurant officially opened earlier this year. To catch a glimpse of their cute and charming appearances, hordes of netizens flocked here from all over. The restaurant excels in everything—from its ingredients and themed decor to its merchandise—earning widespread praise online.

Located in Xitun District, Taichung, the Uglyhead Forest Hot Pot Restaurant greets diners with a huge Peebo smile right at the entrance. Above, a wall decal covered with Uglyheads warmly says “Welcome!” Inside, their presence is felt everywhere, thrilling fans who exclaim how “ugly-cute” and therapeutic they are.

Though cartoon-themed, the restaurant doesn’t skimp on food. In addition to carefully selected fresh ingredients, it offers nearly twenty specialty drinks, each with an adorable character design. Each month features a limited-edition Peebo soup cube that slowly melts into the broth—an oddly captivating sight. The fluffy, light-scented Peebo egg cake is also a big hit and hailed as a must-try snack.

The spacious interior uses green as the main visual theme, with slender hemp ropes dividing seating areas. There's also decoration reminiscent of a forest.
