Fulfilled her dream of becoming a flight attendant: Hong Xiaolei joins China Airlines’ cabin crew experience camp

Following the huge success of the “I Love Babies” cabin crew experience camp launched in 2013, China Airlines has for the first time organized the “I Love Moms” cabin crew experience camp in 2014. The first session commenced on July 9, with participants ranging in age from a 75-year-old grandmother to 40-year-old famous model Hong Xiaolei, who fulfilled her dream of becoming a flight attendant.

The “I Love Moms” cabin crew experience camp begins with posture and etiquette training. The small-class format allows each participating mom to interact with China Airlines’ professional cabin crew instructors and exchange tips on posture and etiquette. At the end of the course, participants get to experience moving through the cabin, practicing real scenarios such as passenger boarding and in-flight meal service, fully immersing themselves in the fun of role-playing as flight attendants. The youngest mom, who is also a model, Hong Xiaolei, got to experience serving her husband, Wang Shijun, during the activity.

The “I Love Moms” cabin crew experience camp is a one-day program with 15 participants per session. It is open to women aged 40 and above, with a fee of NT$6,800 per person. In addition, the pilot and cabin crew experience camps, which have always been highly popular among young students, will each offer three sessions this year. The pilot experience camp provides 48 spots, while the cabin crew experience camp offers 72 spots. Young students aged 18 to 28 who are passionate about the aviation industry and eager to experience the career of pilots or flight attendants can apply. Through a 3-day, 2-night program, they can fulfill their dreams of flying.
