Tokyo, just recently “messed with” by Neoguri, not only hit Japan’s highest temperature of the year at 34.2 degrees on the 11th, but as if fulfilling the saying “great sights often appear before or after a typhoon,” around 6 PM that day, a double rainbow also appeared. Two perfect arcs stretched across the rain-washed sky, forming a “sky bridge” between Shimokita and Sankenya. Bathed in the setting sun, they shimmered with orange-red hues, almost like a giant protective shield. This rare spectacle prompted people across Tokyo to quickly capture it from various angles, leaving comments like “The door to another world has opened!” The photos shared on Twitter went viral, garnering over 10,000 reposts in no time.

Many netizens commented that it was the first time they had seen such beauty, with some humorously adding, “Feels like something might fly out from a corner,” “The person at the center must be super powerful!” or “A sealed door has opened, and monsters are about to come out!” After a series of photos were shared on PTT, Taiwanese netizens also joined the discussion enthusiastically: “The Philosopher’s Stone is complete,” “Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Shadow Game is starting!” or “Some over-30 sorcerers are up to mischief again...”
