20 Chopper figures play hide-and-seek in Causeway Bay – One Piece Exhibition to launch in Hong Kong at the end of July

“No matter what happens from now on, this mark on my left hand will be a symbol of our bond!” The classic promise from One Piece is coming to Hong Kong as the Grand Line sets sail in the city. Starting July 30, an 11-meter-tall “Thousand Sunny” ship will dock in front of Times Square in Causeway Bay and open its decks to visitors for exploration.

The One Piece-themed exhibition “One Piece Docks at Hong Kong” has already generated huge buzz even before its official opening in Hong Kong. Organizers have revealed five major highlights of the event. In addition to the 11-meter-tall “Thousand Sunny,” an 8-meter-tall “Going Merry” will also be stationed on the second-floor atrium of Times Square. Twenty 1:1 scale adorable Chopper figures will spread out across various spots in the square, allowing fans to take cuddly photos with the reindeer. Moreover, main characters including Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook will strike iconic poses on-site for fans to take commemorative photos with.

Additionally, there’s a hidden highlight: Luffy’s straw hat will be placed atop the clock tower in front of Times Square. By finding the right angle, visitors can snap photos that make it look like they’re wearing the iconic hat—getting a taste of what it’s like to be the Pirate King.
