TransAsia Airways' latest statement: Seven injured passengers have been sent back to Taiwan, full efforts underway for aftermath handling

In response to the crash of TransAsia Airways flight GE222, the airline issued a latest statement this afternoon (July 24) at 15:30. TransAsia stated that out of the 10 injured passengers, aside from Chen Yajuan who has returned home to recuperate and two others who were not fit to fly due to medical advice (Zhang Zhiren and one passenger whose identity has not been confirmed), the remaining seven were flown back to Taiwan proper this morning at 11:00 AM aboard a C130 military aircraft. Among them, Tsai Peiru and Yan Wanru were transferred to Kaohsiung's National 802nd Hospital, Hong Yuting and Li Shunji to Kaohsiung Zuoying's 806th Hospital, Xu t@die to Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Wu Changlou to Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, and Li Weitong to Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital.

TransAsia Airways General Manager Hsu I-tsung and relevant senior management have successively arrived at Magong Airport, making every effort to handle the aftermath, assist on-site operations, and actively cooperate with the Civil Aeronautics Administration and the Aviation Safety Council in the investigation.
