Japan is the top overseas travel destination for Taiwanese travelers, and its diverse and thrilling theme parks are one of the must-visit spots. The world’s largest travel website TripAdvisor recently released the “Top 10 Best Theme Parks in Japan” as chosen by global travelers, offering more exciting options for visitors during the summer vacation.

According to data, June and July are peak travel periods for Taiwanese visitors to Japan. Leigh Barnes, TripAdvisor’s Communications Director for Asia Pacific, said: “Visiting theme parks is often a highlight of the summer vacation, especially for those with a playful spirit and youthful mindset. For travelers planning to visit Japan this summer and looking for different types of theme park experiences, this award-winning list serves as an excellent guide.”

Topping the list of Japan’s best theme parks is “Universal Studios Japan” in Osaka, which offers a wide variety of movie-themed rides and attractions. In recent years, it has added new experiences such as the Flying Dinosaur, Minion Park, and seasonal limited-time attractions, ensuring there’s always something new to discover—earning it the top spot in the traveler vote.
