Free entry for couples in matching outfits – celebrate Valentine’s Day early at Yilan Children's Folk Games Festival

This weekend coincides with Qixi Festival (Valentine’s Day on August 2), and the Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival has launched an early “matching outfits promotion,”As long as you and your partner wear matching couple outfits and come on Friday, August 1, hug each other, and say “I love you,” you can enjoy a sweet and money-saving deal: buy one individual ticket and get the second one freefor two people.

In addition to the couple outfit promotion, the festival will also host a “Lovers’ Kissing Contest” at 11 a.m. on August 1 at the Red Brick Square. The event is open for on-site registration with a limit of 30 couples. Participating couples must have one partner lift the other to kiss, and touching the ground means disqualification—the couple that lasts the longest wins. The winners will receive two lunch vouchers at Hotel Royal Chiaohsi (worth $1716) and two half-day golf coupons (worth $1100).

The organizers recommend planning a two-day trip to the festival.
