Alishan may not have vast seas of hydrangeas, and while the number of blooms isn’t huge, the clusters are just as large as those in Yangmingshan, blooming just as vibrantly. Pink-purple and white hydrangeas bloom in alternating splendor, and when an Alishan forest train passes by, the scene becomes even more beautiful—a classic view that’s hard to find elsewhere.
