China Airlines’ 2017 new brand image film “Take Your Parents on a Trip” is the highlight of its campaign. From today (30th) to July 2nd for three consecutive days, the airline is holding the “#TakeYourParentsOnATrip” event at Hall 1, Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei. An interactive booth will be set up at the venue where participants can fill in their information, and the system will randomly give away multiple free air tickets, allowing lucky winners to take their parents abroad for fun right away.

China Airlines is holding a 3-day flash “#TakeYourParentsOnATrip” event in Huashan, featuring a specially designed A350 aircraft-shaped interactive installation. Participants who input the country they most want to take their parents to have the chance to instantly draw an air ticket and also receive a commemorative photo. The event officially kicked off at 2 PM today, attracting many visitors to experience it. In about 20 minutes, the first lucky winner emerged and received a round-trip ticket to Japan.

During the event, China Airlines will give away a limited edition of 200 sets of exclusively designed “#TakeYourParentsOnATrip Declaration T-shirts.” Visitors can take a photo on-site, upload it to Instagram, and tag the China Airlines event theme “#TakeYourParentsOnATrip” to redeem a free ice cream or refreshing drink.

The 2017 China Airlines annual image film presents, through interviews with real families, the difference in perception and memory between children and their parents regarding past travel experiences. The genuine scenes are touching, prompting netizens to exclaim, “We can’t wait any longer—we must plan a trip with our parents now!” Meanwhile, the online campaign “China Airlines Gives You the Tickets – Take Your Parents on a Trip Now” has received an enthusiastic response, with over 550,000 netizens participating and actively sharing which countries they most want to take their parents to.
China Airlines’ official website is also currently offering promotional discounts—discounts of 7% off (excluding certain routes) on all Taiwan-originating flights from now until July 8.
