Mourning the Kaohsiung gas explosion — Tainan Masagou Music Festival postponed to September

The originally scheduled "2014 Tainan Masagou Music Festival" on Saturday, August 9, has been postponed as a mark of mourning for the Kaohsiung gas explosion. The new date will be announced separately.

The Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau stated that the Kaohsiung gas explosion caused significant casualties, which has deeply concerned the people of Tainan. Therefore, the organizers have decided to temporarily cancel the event. It is preliminarily planned to postpone the festival to early September, with the exact date to be announced soon on the official event website, Facebook, and other information platforms. The public is advised to pay close attention to updates on the official website. In addition, future editions of the Masagou Music Festival will adopt a theme centered on warmth and care, hoping to invite everyone to cheer for Kaohsiung together.
