Invite “hungry ghosts” to boost the hype – Xilaya’s horse-cart races feature skull-themed designs

The Xilaya Horse-Cart Races will be held on a grand scale on November 16. Organizers stated that early registration helps participants with an interest in the event have ample time to prepare. Registration began on July 1, during which the organizers received numerous calls and messages from the public requesting more information. Due to overwhelming enthusiasm and requests to extend the registration period, it was announced on August 13 that the sign-up window for the Horse-Cart Races would be extended to September 22. Teams interested in competing for the substantial cash prizes are encouraged to apply.

In line with the Ghost Festival activities in July, the organizers have also specially designed a ghost-themed trial ride for the vehicle designs and unveiled various obstacle courses for the first time. Participants can dress up in eerie zombie costumes and pair them with skull-themed carts—both scary and eye-catching. There are no restrictions on the design of the human-and-vehicle combination; whether you want to dress as a ghost to frighten others or as a sweet angel, as long as the overall human-and-vehicle look is attention-grabbing, you could stand out in the competition and win big prize money.
