Liye Farm not only offers accommodation but has also launched half-day / one-day farm tours this year.

Arriving at three in the afternoon when the weather is less hot, the kids were already playing with bubble blowers. Kids are just so innocent and adorable—they play together whether they know each other or not.

There’s also a mini zoo nearby, where ducks stroll around happily wagging their little bottoms. Inside the enclosure are newly hatched ducklings and bunnies, but it’s a pity about the light rain—otherwise we could have gotten up close and personal!!

We were given soy milk to drink first?! Haha~ the bottles will come in handy later

Originally, the farm owner was going to take us to personally experience collecting duck eggs and the farm tour, but unfortunately the drizzle just wouldn’t stop, so he collected them for us to see instead.

After the owner’s wife washed the eggs clean~ why are there so many colors?! Because the ducks here don’t just eat feed, they forage freely, which is why the eggs come in such a variety of colors

Omelet roll DIY begins Up!! First, crumble the seaweed and put it in (Little Bagel: I can do it, I can do it)

Then crack in two duck eggs (Little Bagel: I can, I’ll do it myself) But, duck eggs are really hard, no matter how hard the little rascal tried, he couldn’t crack them—so mom had to step in

Next, stir it up (Little Bagel gets even more excited: I can, I’ll stir it myself!!)

Then it’s time for “cooking class” Up!! Such serious little kids!!

Then it’s Little Bagel’s turn, over the moon with joy!! Because this little troublemaker who normally isn’t even allowed in the kitchen is cooking for real today, big hands + little hands working together to make an omelet, what a great parent-child experience!!

Isn’t it great!! The little chefs happily eat the afternoon snack they made themselves, honestly~ our creation even had countless tiny bits of eggshell mixed in, hahaha

What to do after eating?! Ya~~ bbbbbbbb, the farm owner calls out, everyone come feed the ducks!!

Little Bagel’s first close encounter with small animals, this kid has really grown up, he’s not scared anymore. The cute and gentle ducks are super healing, pecking at Little Bagel’s head~~ you’re new here? Hurry up!! The whole farm is filled with the screams and laughter of kids

Next, experience the Iron Ox Cart that city kids have never seen before

The Iron Ox Cart drives to the parking lot at the back of the farm, stops to look for the “green light bulb”

Couples who love taking photos can also come ring the bell~ for a lifetime of love

Then ride the Iron Ox Cart back to the front of the farm, it’s less than a 5-minute ride, but it’s full of happy memories!! Little Bagel loves the cart so much, he insists on taking a photo with it and refuses to leave!!

These are all jams made and boiled by the farm owner himself

Wow~~ it’s the spinning shaved ice!! (Anything that spins is Little Bagel’s favorite~ wheels, windmills... he can’t put them down)

Choose whatever flavor you want to add, this fun and cooling DIY shaved ice, you could eat several bowls

After eating the refreshing shaved ice, it’s time to make a souvenir to take home

So the soy milk bottle we drank from earlier actually had a use!! Upcycling~ decorate it yourself to make a “Sui Sui Ping An” (lucky bottle)
