New Travel Option to the U.S. — Cathay Pacific Launches Nonstop Hong Kong–Boston Route

Cathay Pacific announced that it will launch a four-times-weekly nonstop service between Hong Kong and Boston, USA, starting May 2, 2015 (subject to government approval). This direct flight to Boston marks the first time a Hong Kong-based airline offers nonstop service to New England in the U.S., and is Cathay Pacific’s sixth destination in the United States as well as its eighth in North America. The route will be operated by the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Cathay Pacific Chief Executive Officer John Slosar said that the new Boston flight will further expand the airline’s global network. The new route also provides passengers with more travel choices and meets the demand for both business and leisure travel between Hong Kong and the U.S. East Coast.
