Tigerair Taiwan’s launch promotion fare — one-way tickets may cost under NT$1,000

After announcing that the inaugural destination is Singapore, the next big question on everyone’s mind is when flights will begin and whether there will be promotional fares for the launch? According to Tigerair Taiwan’s plan submitted to the Ministry of Transportation, the maiden flight is scheduled for September 26. As for the launch promotion fare? It hasn’t been announced yet, but according to a report by the Central News Agency, one-way tickets might be under NT$1,000.

The Central News Agency report noted that Tigerair Taiwan’s first aircraft is expected to arrive in Taiwan on August 31, with the launch promotion plan likely to be unveiled on September 1. One-way ticket prices could be within NT$1,000.

With the launch approaching, Tigerair Taiwan is also building excitement on Facebook. The latest campaign is “Tiger Share? The more you share, the more experience-price seats we’ll release!” The more shares there are, the more experience-price seats will be made available for the launch. If the number of shares reaches 200 or more, Tigerair Taiwan will release 10,000 experience-price seats for the launch.
