In today’s internet-driven world where photos and check-ins matter, being both delicious and photogenic has become essential for a café’s success. Located in Zhongli, Taoyuan, "PiePai Café" has seen its bestseller—the "Rainbow Fresh Cheese Cake"—become an online sensation thanks to its dreamy, rainbow-hued appearance. The café often sees long queues from opening time, and recently opened a new branch on Daxing Road in Taoyuan City, currently in trial operation until the end of July.

When the Zhongli branch of "PiePai Café" opened last year, it attracted many influencers. The Taoyuan branch continues the minimalist, Korean-style aesthetic of the Zhongli location, with a black-and-white exterior that exudes understated elegance. Stepping inside, you’re greeted by an abundance of green plants and fresh flowers, while marble tiled walls are also a highlight of the décor. Notably, the café has added fun photo props, so you can snap playful interaction shots while enjoying your meal.

Many customers come specifically for the star item—the "Rainbow Fresh Cheese Cake." Its colorful gradient is made using natural food coloring imported from the U.S. The fresh cheese is taken straight from the freezer, giving it a slightly firm texture with a tangy yet rich flavor. Paired with a crispy pie crust, the taste is sweet and sour without being cloying. Currently priced at NT$100 per slice, with a limit of two slices per person.

If you’re not into fresh cheese, the café also offers a variety of pies and cakes. Customers can choose any combination of eight different pies from the cake display case, with different colors and textures sure to delight any sweet tooth.
Beyond desserts, the café also offers a diverse range of meals. According to the staff, the most popular main dish is the "Green Pesto Cheese Chicken Risotto." Another must-try savory option is the "Kimchi Cheese Iron Pot Rice," which includes smoked salmon and lets customers drizzle their own specially made cheese sauce. The rich cheese pairs perfectly with the mildly spicy kimchi for a unique flavor combo. Both the Taoyuan and Zhongli branches have just launched new summer menus for their savory dishes and drinks.
