According to a report by the China Times, Huang Xingyu, head of the Sports Facilities Division under the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education, stated that considering the safety and convenience of cyclists, the future “Bicycle National Highway” will primarily follow provincial highways. However, it cannot guarantee that the scenery along the route will be uniformly picturesque. Moreover, even after the completion of the “Bicycle National Highway,” there will still be two disconnected sections along the South-Link Railway and the Su-Hua Highway. The Sports Administration noted that it plans to provide train connections to help cyclists complete their dream of cycling around Taiwan.
