Yilan Gets New Tourist Factory – Aeon Deli Museum Opens on July 6 with Food as Its Core Theme

The “Aeon Deli Museum,” a food-themed tourist factory invested in and built by semiconductor material and equipment distributor Chun Yueh Technology with a capital of NT$1 billion in Su’ao, Yilan, officially opened today (July 6). The museum extensively incorporates interactive tech-based games, allowing visitors to learn about marine dietary education. It also features Taiwan’s exclusive CAS Fresh cell-active preservation and freezing technology, offering insights into how to maintain the freshness and flavor of aquatic products.

The Aeon Deli Museum has four floors, covering a total area of approximately 4,600 ping, making it Taiwan’s first tourist factory that combines “food safety” with “eco-energy conservation.” The theater hall on the first floor features a brand-new ocean fantasy performance that blends dance, acrobatics, magic, and entertaining drama, with three shows daily. The second floor includes the Ocean Fun Pavilion, Aeon Mini Factory, baking DIY classroom, and a baby teeth ceremony & one-year-old birthday ritual. Among these, the baking DIY classroom is a limited-capacity course with small-group teaching – advance booking is required for those wishing to participate. The baby teeth ceremony & one-year-old birthday ritual is a fusion of old and new elements, creating a sea exploration-themed celebration. The third floor houses the Exploration Kitchen and a plant factory. The Exploration Kitchen offers classic global dishes such as European, Japanese, and Hong Kong-style cuisine, while the plant factory is an intelligent climate-controlled greenhouse.

Ticket prices are NT$300 for general admission, NT$250 for concessionary tickets, and NT$50 for seniors. Children under 6 years old, seniors over 80, and visitors who are celebrating their birthday on the day of visit can enter for free. To give back to local residents in Yilan, every Monday has been designated as “Yilan Residents Day,” during which Yilan County residents can enjoy free entry upon presenting their ID.
