Get lost in the rice fields during harvest season! The 2017 Zhudong Rice Field Carnival will take place on December 9 and 10. The Zhudong District Farmers’ Association has specially created a large rice field maze and rice field circles in the town’s farmland, opening them up for early public experience and visits on the 7th. In addition to the fun rice field maze, there will also be activities such as a traditional clay oven, rice field dining, and a local agricultural produce market. Families and groups of friends can all enjoy a taste of farm life before the rice harvest season ends.

The Rice Field Carnival event organized by the Zhudong District Farmers’ Association in Zhubei County is now in its third year. This year, a massive 600-square-meter rice field maze and mysterious rice field circles have been specially created in the farmlands at Section 1, Gongdao 5th Road, and Lane 250, Xia Yuan Shan Road, Yuanshan Li, Zhudong Township, presenting an unusual sight in the ordinary farmland. In previous years, visitors had great fun playing hide-and-seek in the rice field maze.
