New Taipei Water Bus Night Cruise to Crescent Bridge – Additional Tickets Go on Sale Sept. 12

To celebrate the first anniversary of the New Taipei Water Bus, a limited-night cruise from “Huajiang Pier to Crescent Bridge” was launched, selling out instantly upon release. In response, additional cruises have been added, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. on the 12th.

This limited-time night cruise package is available for just NT$99 per person.Passengers can enjoy a scenic ride on the water bus, taking in illuminated landmarks such as Huajiang Bridge, New Taipei Bridge, Dahan Bridge, Xinshui Bridge, and Crescent Bridge. Participants will also receive a special limited-edition “Crescent Bridge Light Sculpture Commemorative Ticket” magnet and a bottle of cold drink. The cruise includes a guided riverside tour along the Tamsui River and Dahan River.

The event received an overwhelming response, with all eight limited cruises selling out immediately. To provide more people with the opportunity to participate,on September 17 and 18, the number of cruises will be doubled to eight, offering a total of 360 tickets. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 12, with a limit of two tickets per person. To prevent disputes caused by ticket rushes, a public online registration platform has been specially used, eliminating the possibility of manual manipulation.

For those who can’t secure the limited tickets, the New Taipei Water Bus also operates two other routes – “Huajiang Pier to Zhongxiao Pier” and “Zhongxiao Pier to Dadaocheng Pier” – where passengers can also admire beautifully illuminated bridges such as Huajiang Bridge, New Taipei Bridge, Zhongxing Bridge, Zhongxiao Bridge, and Taipei Bridge. A one-way trip on these routes costs just NT$15.

Crescent Bridge Fact Sheet:
Spanning the Dahan River in New Taipei City and connecting Banqiao and Xinzhuang, the “Crescent Bridge” is the city’s third pedestrian and cyclist-only scenic bridge. It stretches 725 meters in length, stands 65 meters high, and is 8 meters wide. Designed as an “asymmetrical double-steel tied arch bridge,” it is the longest double-span steel arch bridge in Taiwan. The bridge features a 60-meter-long transparent walkway, modeled after the Grand Canyon’s “Skywalk,” allowing visitors to look down and see the Dahan River flowing beneath their feet. At night, the bridge, illuminated with colorful light sculptures, reflects beautifully on the dark river surface. Standing on the transparent walkway offers a close-up view of this stunning spectacle.
