Haven’t seen the fireworks show at Hong Kong Disneyland yet? Then you might want to book your flight right away. With the official launch of the new phase of expansion works at Hong Kong Disneyland, the iconic Sleeping Beauty (Cinderella) Castle at the heart of the park will begin a magnificent transformation starting early January 2018, and the Disney night’s grand finale, the “Ignite the Dream” fireworks show, will also be performed for the last time on January 1, 2018.

The “Ignite the Dream” fireworks show, performed every evening at the castle in Hong Kong Disneyland, is one of the most anticipated performances for all visitors, with dazzling, gorgeous fireworks and Disney animation projections that always captivate the audience. As the park will begin a new phase of expansion works from 2018, this moving fireworks show will be temporarily suspended, and new and exciting performances will later be presented at the brand-new castle.

In addition, Hong Kong Disneyland has also announced that a brand-new stage show themed around Moana, the popular heroine from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ beloved character — “Moana,” will make its debut in May 2018, kicking off the new phase of expansion at Hong Kong Disneyland. The performance will take place at a brand-new outdoor performance venue with an exotic ambiance in Adventureland.
