Due to the boost from Takeshi Kaneshiro, many visitors flocked to Chihshang Township in Taitung, creating crowds of pilgrims and heavy traffic that interfered with local farm machinery during the busy farming season. As a result, at the end of June, Chihshang Township announced traffic controls on local farm roads from July 1 to August 31. The Chihshang Loop Bus, sponsored by EVA Air during this period, is also scheduled to be suspended on September 14.

The Taitung County Government stated that as the traffic control period for Chihshang's Brolin Boulevard has expired, the control signs will be removed by the Chihshang Township Office in the near future. However, in the future, depending on farming needs or if the township office or community deems control necessary, announcements will still be made proactively. The Taitung County Government urges everyone that, with the crisp and pleasant autumn weather, it’s the perfect time for bicycle travel, and hopes people will take their time to experience the scenery of Chihshang by bike.
