The month-long "Hong Kong Halloween Festival" begins on October 1st, transforming Hong Kong into a city of Halloween revelry. Among the four major highlights to experience are Hong Kong Disneyland, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, and Ocean Park Hong Kong, all offering Halloween scare events. This year also sees the first arrival from Las Vegas, USA, of the terrifying haunted house "FRIGHT DOME: Fear Summit" at The Peak Galleria, and major malls will be decorated with spooky Halloween themes.

Brand-new "Disney Paint the Night" nighttime parade runs daily; "Disney Halloween Time" brings mysterious figures throughout the park
Starting October 1st, Hong Kong Disneyland unveils the brand-new "Disney Paint the Night" nighttime parade, featuring seven newly designed floats adorned with over 740,000 individual LED lights that create mysterious and romantic light shows while bringing classic Disney stories to life. This year, the eerie ambiance of "Disney Halloween Time" extends beyond Adventureland to other themed areas of the park, including "Amazon Adventure" at the Frontierland Theatre, as well as "Frightfully Fun Parade," "Grizzly Gulch Halloween Party," "Grim Grinning Ghost School," and "Halloween Screampunk Circus."

With the theme "Halloween Bash: Haunted City of Ghosts," Ocean Park Hong Kong presents a powerful lineup of "seven haunted houses and nine scary experiences." One ticket lets you enjoy the fun all day long from daytime to nightfall. This year also introduces the ultimate R-rated haunted house [H14], taking the scare factor to new depths and pushing visitors' sensory limits and inner fears. Each group’s experience is customized—they must fill in personal information before entering the haunted house, and the Halloween Bash team will adjust the journey and scare elements based on their responses during the experience.

Also featured is Asia’s first "Doraemon"-themed Halloween party, where visitors can join a magical adventure with gadgets like the time machine and Anywhere Door. This year, Ocean Park has innovatively designed "haunted houses that transform day and night"—two haunted attractions offer surprise-filled fun for families during the day, but after 5 PM, they instantly morph into high-intensity scare zones. Ocean Park’s "Halloween Bash" is open to the public on 16 specially selected dates throughout October.

America’s most terrifying haunted house FRIGHT DOME lands at The Peak Galleria in Hong Kong
Dubbed one of the scariest attractions in the Americas, FRIGHT DOME makes its first-ever international debut in Hong Kong this year, becoming the first FRIGHT DOME outside the United States. The choice of The Peak was intentional—when night falls, visitors riding the century-old tram through the misty hills arrive at a secluded, mysterious location, perfect for diving into the world of horror. FRIGHT DOME includes two high-tech haunted houses, a "Real Ghost Escape" scare zone, numerous terrifying scenes, multimedia light shows, zombie parades, scare games, and horror photo areas, guaranteeing a thrill-packed experience. The event runs from September 26 to November 2, with both daytime and nighttime sessions at different ticket prices.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong’s "Run for Your Life"
The terrifying exhibit "Run for Your Life" at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong takes visitors on a bizarre and eerie Halloween journey. Walk through pitch-black corridors surrounded by hyper-realistic wax figures and a lunatic asylum housing deranged criminals—the atmosphere is absolutely heart-pounding. Madame Tussauds Hong Kong also offers a Halloween combo ticket for just HK$350, which includes entry to the wax museum, a round-trip Peak Tram ticket, Sky Terrace 428 admission, and a meal at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant.
