2017 Taiwan Culinary Exhibition Kicks Off at World Trade Center Hall 1 on July 21 – 6 Zones & 20 Themed Pavilions

The 2017 Taiwan Culinary Exhibition will be held from July 21 to 24 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. This year’s event, themed “A Colorful Food Era,” features six exhibition zones: “Art of Food,” “Utensils of Food,” “Ingredients of Food,” “Journeys of Food,” “Companions of Food,” and “Education of Food.” It not only showcases Taiwan’s diverse and vibrant cuisine but also offers numerous discounts to visitors.

Ye Julan, President of the Taiwan Visitors Association and organizer of the event, said that Taiwan offers cuisines from around the world. The 27th Culinary Exhibition has invited nearly 820 booths and 20 themed pavilions. The content also incorporates Taiwan’s unique food culture and historical memories, giving the exhibition both depth and breadth.

For the first time this year, the exhibition will give away 1,000 early-bird gift bags. The first 300 visitors to the main stage before July 22, the first 300 before July 23, and the first 400 before July 24 will receive a “Colorful Goodie Bag.” In addition to imported popular cookies to satisfy cravings, the bag also includes a random selection of seasonal fresh produce such as carrots, loofah, eggplant, and water spinach—limited quantities available.
