The brunch trend is taking off in Hualien. Howard Plaza Hotel Hualien, ranked No. 1 in the 2017 Asia’s Best Family-Friendly Hotels, has launched its “Sunshine Embrace Brunch” starting today. Combining outdoor amusement facilities with the hotel’s outdoor spaces, the brunch offers à la carte main courses paired with an all-you-can-eat buffet, making it the only five-star hotel in Hualien to serve brunch.

Howard Plaza Hualien’s Sunshine Embrace Brunch breaks away from traditional hotel dining by integrating the hotel’s outdoor recreational facilities. During the typically quieter brunch hours, the restaurant opens these facilities to diners, aiming to become Taiwan’s highest value-for-money and largest family-friendly restaurant by space. To celebrate its seventh anniversary, the brunch features seven main dishes: Provence Garden Vegetables, Sunny Poached Egg, Sun-Kissed Tomato & Quinoa Egg Burger with Rainbow Salad, Honey Brick Seafood, Healthy Quinoa Pork Burger, Fresh Sea & Land Skewers with Chef’s Special Sauce, and Summer Radiance Crystal Fruit Pasta, all served alongside an all-you-can-eat buffet.

The operating hours for Howard Plaza Hotel Hualien’s “Sunshine Embrace Brunch” are weekdays from 11:00 to 13:30. The price is NTD 450 + 10% service charge per adult, NTD 350 + 10% for seniors, and NTD 250 + 10% for children (without a main course).
