The 175 Coffee Highway Launches “i* Citrus Mini Tours” – Just Ask at the Hotel Counter to Sign Up

The Tainan 175 Coffee Highway is an industrial boulevard featuring hot springs, i* citrus, longan, and coffee. This year, the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration commissioned the Elegant Farmer team to guide the Nanya and Liziyuan communities along the 175 Highway in developing mini tours themed around local industries—featuring longan, coffee, and i* citrus. Led by local experts, these tours offer visitors a fresh take on the unique charm of the 175 Coffee Highway.

The Nanya community plans to launch a trial run of the i* citrus mini tour in late November, timed with the i* citrus harvest season. Local experts will share the journey and secrets of growing i* citrus, take participants on a tour of the orchards to pick fruit, and offer tastings of longan flower tea. This enriching itinerary combines local industry and rural life, not only providing visitors with diverse ecological knowledge and insights into the production processes of coffee, i* citrus, and longan but also offering a full taste of rural joy.

Liao Yuanlong, Director of the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration, said: “By repackaging and marketing local specialties through mini tours, and using Guanziling hot spring businesses as a promotional platform for the 175 mini tours, we can build a win-win partnership that boosts tourism development along the 175 Coffee Highway!” In the future, visitors can simply inquire at hotel counters to book mini tour packages, with communities also thoughtfully offering paid shuttle services.
