A buffet restaurant with 70 kinds of desserts has driven girls wild. Created by a team from a five-star hotel group and built with a massive investment, the new-style “Hanshe Lechu RAKU KITCHEN Buffet” in Nangang District will open on the 24th. Dubbed a “super restaurant” by the media, it features four main food stations – desserts, cold dishes, hot dishes, and a Japanese sashimi and sushi bar – serving around 130 dishes daily, including an astonishing dessert section with nearly 70 options. The dessert selection aims not only to capture the pink-collar market but also attract visitors to nearby exhibitions.

Li Bocheng, deputy manager of the catering department at Hanshe Catering Nangang Exhibition Hall, said: “The Nangang Exhibition Hall hosts numerous large-scale exhibitions and concerts every year, attracting many international visitors. In 2014, visitor numbers exceeded 2 million. Therefore, Hanshe Catering sees great potential in this location and has created a new concept five-star restaurant offering multi-national cuisines.” The restaurant boasts a spacious 317 ping area that can accommodate 250 guests, and includes a “kids play zone” furnished with imported Danish children’s furniture, featuring a “Dream Castle,” “Slide Room,” “Bird’s Nest Pavilion,” and “Reading Corner.” Li explained that weekends mainly target families, but the overall design also considers providing diners with a “more convenient and comfortable dining environment.”

To celebrate the opening, Hanshe Lechu will offer the first 30 diners free lunch or dinner from September 24 to 30. From September 24 to December 31, weekday lunch is priced at NT$680 + 10% (original price NT$780 + 10%), with a10% discount for residents ofNangang, Neihu, and Xizhi upon presentation of ID.
