The owner of Border Station is an American from Texas who has lived in Taiwan for over 30 years. He hopes Taiwanese can taste his hometown flavors and experience a different culture. The restaurant’s décor is entirely in American Western style, and even the staff uniforms match the theme. The menu highlights hearty portions,and the rock-grilled steaks come in various weights for customers to choose from—everything from 10 to 40 ounces. The most popular and satisfying option is the 40-ounce steak,which costs over a thousand NT dollars but can be shared by 3 to 4 people. In addition, the menu is divided into American brunch, salads, soups, appetizers, main courses, small bites, kids’ meals, drinks, and handmade desserts.
