Yehliu Fishing Port, the largest distribution hub for Wanli crabs, will host the "Wanli Crab Fishing Port Unloading Performance" and "Holiday Live Crab Market" from the 27th until October 25th. During this period, crab fishing boats will dock, unload, and sort their catch at the pier square in front of the Baosheng Temple in Yehliu Fishing Port, allowing consumers to witness the stunning sight of "hundreds of crabs on the move" up close. Visitors can also purchase freshly caught, top-quality Wanli crabs directly at the port.

To help consumers learn about Taiwan’s wild sea crabs and enjoy the freshest, most delicious Wanli crabs, New Taipei City Government launched the unloading performance last year, attracting visitors from all over. This year, in expanded collaboration with the Wanli Fishermen’s Production and Sales Group, from now until October 25th, every Saturday at 5 PM (except October 18th), crab fishing boats will dock, unload, and sort their catch at the pier square in front of the Baosheng Temple in Yehliu Fishing Port, offering the public an up-close experience of the thrilling sorting process of "hundreds of crabs on the move."

New Taipei City Government spokesperson Lin Jieyou stated that each unloading performance is expected to offer 300 jin (approximately 150 kg) of live crabs, available for purchase by 100 on-site visitors at local retail prices. The supply volume, crab species, and sizes depend on the daily catch of fishing boats, and specific crab types cannot be requested. Additionally, the New Taipei City Agriculture Bureau has coordinated with local Wanli fishermen to set up a limited-time "Holiday Live Crab Market" every Saturday and Sunday from now until October 26th (excluding October 18th and 19th) at the Blue Highway waiting shelter in Yehliu Fishing Port.
